I tried setting up a win2003 server in VMWare but I can't get the windows updates for some reason. It says that I have to download WGA, but then when you go to download WGA, it says that it cannot validate because WGA is for XP! So its off to Automatic Updates and let it download that way I guess.
Dear all, One of our customer has purchased a IBM server with 2008 Standard 32 bit ROK (Reseller Option Kit) but they want to downgrade it to 2003 Standard 32 bit. I arranged a media and installed 2003 server but at the time of activation when I provided the installation ID to Microsoft they said the installation was not carried out by a valid media or the installation ID is not valid.
